Quelle espèce de Sphingonotus Fieber, 1852 (Insecta, Orthoptera, Acrididae) se trouve dans la plaine du Rhin (Alsace, Grand Est) ?

Résumé  ̶  La présente étude a pour objectif d'inférer l'identité spécifique des populations appartenant au genre Sphingonotus Fieber, 1852 présentes en Alsace. Dans ce cadre, une analyse morphologique a été menée sur plusieurs populations dans la partie ouest de la plaine du Rhin en Alsace. L’étude montre ici que deux espèces sont probablement présentes, Sphingonotus caerulans (Linnaeus, 1767) qui est présent au moins dans les deux tiers nord de la région, et Sphingonotus sp. dans le tiers sud. Cependant, l’identité taxinomique de l'espèce présente dans le tiers sud de la région demeure incertaine. Il s’agit soit de Sphingonotus caerulans, soit d’une population hybride entre les deux espèces.

Abstract  ̶  Which species of Sphingonotus Fieber, 1852 (Insecta, Orthoptera, Acrididae) is found in the Upper Rhine Valley?
The purpose of this study was to infer the taxonomic status of the populations belonging to the genus Sphingonotus Fieber, 1852 present in Alsace. In this scope, a morphological analysis has been conducted on several populations in the western part of the upper Rhine Valley. The study shows that Sphingonotus caerulans (Linnaeus, 1767) is present in at least the northern two thirds of the region, and Sphingonotus sp. in the southern third. On the other hand, the identity of the taxon present in the southern third remains uncertain: either it is Sphingonotus caerulans, or a hybrid population between the two species.
