À propos de quelques échantillons de Trematodon ambiguus (Hedw.) Hornsch., 1819 conservés à l'Herbier de l’Université de Strasbourg (STR)

Résumé  ̶  Des échantillons d’herbier d’une espèce rare en France, Trematodon ambiguus, sont ici commentés. En effet, lors d’un travail d’inventaire dans les collections de bryophytes conservées dans l’Herbier de l'Université de Strasbourg (STR), l’auteur a eu l’occasion de mettre en évidence deux échantillons anciens de cette espèce en Alsace et en Lorraine, respectivement à Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) et dans la région de Bitche (Moselle). Nous commentons ici l'importance de ces échantillons mais également des herbiers pour la conservation des collections de bryophytes ainsi que la contribution des experts naturalistes à la connaissance de la bryoflore.

Abstract  ̶ About some specimens of Trematodon ambiguus (Hedw.) Hornsch, 1819 preserved in the Herbarium of the University of Strasbourg (STR)
Herbarium samples of a rare species in France, Trematodon ambiguus, are commented here. Indeed, during a survey within the collections of bryophytes conserved in the Herbarium of the University of Strasbourg (STR), the author highlighted two historical samples of this species in Alsace and Lorraine, respectively from Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) and from the area around Bitche (Moselle). We discuss the patrimonial value of these samples but also the issue of herbaria for the conservation of bryophyte collections as well as the contribution of citizen scientists to the knowledge of bryoflora.
